Membership Responsibilities
3.1 Governance Participation
As a member of the Cathedral Foundation DAO, individuals and businesses are expected to participate in the governance process. This includes:
Proposal Submission: Members can submit proposals for funding, governance changes, or new initiatives as outlined in the proposal submission flow.
Voting: Based on the number of tokens held, members are eligible to vote in different phases of the governance process, including off-chain voting on Snapshot and on-chain voting in Aragon for high-stakes decisions.
3.2 Adherence to the Constitution
All members are bound by the DAO Constitution and must adhere to its principles, including transparency, decentralization, and ethical conduct. Any violations may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3.3 Compliance with Legal Obligations
Members must comply with all legal obligations related to the DAO, including taxation and regulatory requirements. The Cathedral Foundation DAO operates under the legal framework of Estonia and complies with international nonprofit and blockchain regulations.
3.4 Adherence to AML Regulations
All members are required to adhere to the AML policy of the DAO. Transactions will be monitored using advanced tools to ensure that activities remain compliant with international standards and to prevent illicit financial activities.
